We particularly enjoy this episode from April 2025 in which Ben discusses and performs his composition "Elegy for Four Violins".

Our 2026 festival has come to a close... and what a summer it was! Filled with chamber music, friendship, community, and joy, it's an experience that will carry us forward into the year ahead.

We're thrilled to present the final performance of the 2026 Senior Program at Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival — a benefit concert for Feeding Champlain Valley!

In partnership with the Music for Food project, this performance features all eight of GMCMF's festival fellows. Each year, the festival teams up with Music for Food to help fight food insecurity right here in our community.

Admission is by donation of a non-perishable food item.

This summer, we were thrilled to welcome composer Michael Schachter to teach composition to six of our Senior Program students. Yesterday, their original pieces came to life as our 2026 Barnebl Fellows, the Candide Quartet, gave them a live reading. Thank you, Michael, for spending the summer with our students!

Tonight's the night! Our final Festival Artists Series concert of 2026 is happening at Elley-Long Music Center.

Join Artist Faculty, fellows, and students for a celebratory evening of chamber music. Arrive early for a pre-concert reception at 6:15 PM, then settle in for the 6:45 PM Prelude Concert featuring two of GMCMF's Senior Program string quartets. A perfect send-off to the season. See you there!
