"Thank you. You have absolutely changed my life." - Sunnie (Recovery Program Alunmi)

For 75 years, our community has faithfully supported UGM and made it possible for us to walk alongside people in some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

Every life changed, every family helped, and every person who finds a pathway out of homelessness is made possible through the generosity and compassion of people like you.

As we celebrate 75 years of ministry, we want to say thank you. Without your support, we couldn’t do what we do. Thank you for helping make lasting change possible and for being part of 75 Years of Faithfulness.

Thank you: https://bit.ly/4ymyLnd

A huge thank you to Lake City Church for inviting Union Gospel Mission to share about our ministry!

We had such a wonderful time connecting with your congregation, sharing the work God is doing through UGM, and celebrating stories of transformation. We were especially honored to have Megan share her testimony. After coming to UGM as a resident, Megan now serves as one of our thrift store managers, and her journey is a powerful example of hope restored and lives changed.

Thank you for your welcoming spirit, faithful prayers, and steadfast support. We are grateful to partner with churches like yours that make this ministry possible!

Thank you for being such a blessing to UGM and for helping us live out our mission in the community!

“While annual gifts meet today’s needs, legacy gifts help make tomorrow’s ministry possible.” — Gwen Schwartz, Director of Legacy and Gift Planning.

In the 1990s, the Mission moved from downtown to its current campus along the Spokane River. But as community needs grew into the 2000s, it became clear that even this new space wouldn’t be enough. East of the Men’s Mission on Trent, UGM purchased part of a nearby business complex with help from Legacy Giving and the UGM Foundation. A generous legacy gift from Milan and Gladys DeRuwe helped make renovations possible, creating a facility focused on education and job training for men in recovery.

Today, the campus continues to grow, providing more opportunities for recovery, job training, and care. What was once a small property has become a thriving campus of care and opportunity.
