Some organizations write checks. Others help write a stronger future. Today, we were honored to receive a $15,000 grant from Numerica Credit Union, a longtime partner that continues to invest in the well-being of children and families throughout our region.

During its 2026 Charitable Fund grant cycle, Numerica awarded an incredible $532,000 to approximately 170 organizations, marking its largest year of community giving yet. What inspires us most isn't just the generosity. It's the people behind it. The Numerica team believes thriving communities are built by neighbors helping neighbors, and their commitment helps ensure that no child or family who turns to us for support is ever turned away because of financial hardship.

We are honored to be one of 20 organizations selected to receive a 2026 community grant from the Rotary Club of Coeur d'Alene!

The Rotary Club recently awarded $46,000 in community grants to local nonprofits working to make a positive impact throughout our community. As Lindsey Morgan, the Rotary Club's grants co-chair, shared, "These grants are a practical expression of Service Above Self. We look forward to seeing the impact of these projects in the years ahead."

We are incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club for investing in our mission and helping us continue to serve local youth and families. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to making our community stronger.

Our CDA Smart Girls program has kept busy over the past few weeks. First, they celebrated Pink Shirt Day, proudly wearing pink to spread kindness, inclusion, and the message that bullying is never in style. Next, they put their green thumbs to work by growing grass in clear cups adorned with their photos, creating some truly unforgettable hairstyles.

To top it all off, the girls spent an afternoon creating bubble gum self-portraits, attempting the impressive feat of drawing themselves while simultaneously chewing gum and blowing bubbles. The artwork was fantastic, and the bubbles were plentiful.

A big shout-out to Miss Sue, who runs the program, and to all the members of the Smart Girls. Keep up the great work!

Boys & Girls Clubs has an incredible relationship with the Parker Automotive family, and especially with Parker Subaru. Recently, the Parker Subaru dealership held its Subaru Share the Love® event. For every new vehicle sold or leased during the event, Subaru makes a donation to a national charity.

Last Thursday, on our “Keys for Kids” Dueling Pianos stage, Troy, Kyeli, and Isaac presented a very generous check to the Clubs. Thank you to everyone at Parker Subaru for spreading the Love Promise and supporting the youth in our community.

A REMINDER FOR PARENTS: Make plans for Spring Break “Day Camp” at the Clubs.

We will be open all five days next week, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3. Our daily programs at both Post Falls and CDA include lunch and a snack, as well as a full day of fun activities for the kiddos. See you soon!
