What an incredible day yesterday as we welcomed Journey of Hope to Tesh!

This annual visit is something we look forward to every year, and once again the Phi Theta men brought energy, kindness, and genuine connection to our participants and staff. Their commitment to building relationships and promoting inclusion makes a lasting impact on everyone involved.

Our participants took the lead by giving tours of Tesh and sharing a slideshow highlighting the many things they learn, experience, and accomplish through our programs. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase their talents, achievements, and the important role Tesh plays in their lives.

We enjoyed lunch together, shared stories, made new memories, and celebrated the power of community and friendship. Thank you to Journey of Hope and the amazing Phi Theta men for spending the day with us. We are already looking forward to next year!

Tesh extends our sincere gratitude to the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club for awarding Tesh a $1,500 Community Grant in 2026. We are honored to be among the local organizations selected to receive support through Rotary's commitment to strengthening our community.

These funds will directly support transportation and community inclusion activities for youth participating in Camp Tesh. Through field trips, recreational outings, educational experiences, and opportunities to connect with their community, campers with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain valuable social skills, independence, confidence, and lasting friendships.

Community inclusion is one of the most meaningful aspects of Camp Tesh. Thanks to the generosity of the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club, our campers will have greater access to experiences that allow them to learn, explore, and participate alongside their peers throughout North Idaho.

Thank you, Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club, for your continued investment in local youth and for helping create opportunities that empower children with disabilities to thrive.
The Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club awarded $46,000 in grants to 20 local organizations this year, including a $1,500 grant to Tesh.
