🌬️💙 BREEZE OF KINDNESS – GOAL EXTENDED! Deadline Approaching💙🌬️

August is almost over, but our goal isn't! 🎉

We have decided to extend our Breeze of Kindness fundraising campaign through the end of September! That means we have more time to work toward our $2,000 fundraising goal! 🎯

The Breeze of Kindness Program provides a wide range of support to help families stay safe and comfortable in their homes, including:

🌀 Box fans
❄️ Window A/C units
🔥 Heat sources
🔧 Possible heating and cooling system repairs
🏠 Other home comfort and safety needs

Every donation helps us make a difference for a local family. No donation is too small! 💙

Today, we are thankful for the incredible partners who come alongside us to help families and individuals in need.

One of those amazing partners is United Way of Greater Kansas City! 🤝 United Way helps individuals and families navigate a variety of needs and connects them with valuable resources in our community.

One recent need we’ve been able to connect individuals to is utility assistance through the Critical Medical Needs Program, which helps people with medical needs regain access to electricity when it has been disconnected. ⚡❤️

We are so grateful for partners like United Way who help make a difference and bring hope to those facing difficult circumstances.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to partner with so many amazing community organizations to bring this event to life. Friday was filled with connections, resources, and community members coming together to support one another!

We’re asking our community to help us show appreciation for the incredible foster parents who open their homes and hearts to children in need.

The Family First Initiative, in partnership with Foster Adopt Shop Inc., is hosting a Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner on October 2nd at the Clinton Elks Lodge from 6:00–8:00 PM.

This special evening is all about saying THANK YOU to foster parents for the love, patience, compassion, and commitment they give every day. ❤️

✨ We are looking for sponsors and donations to help make this evening special!

We are seeking support for:
🍽️ Dinner and refreshments
🎁 Foster parent appreciation gifts
🎉 Door prizes and special items
💕 Activities and event supplies
