☕💙 FIRST SATURDAY AT THE SHOP — CHILDCARE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🧸

Our next First Saturday at the Shop is coming up on Saturday, October 3, and we want to make sure foster and adoptive families have the support they need to participate!

🧸 FIRST SATURDAY RESPITE CARE

📅 Saturday, October 3, 2026

⏰ 08:00 AM–2:00 PM

📍 Moreland Early Learning

115 E. Elm St., Clinton

This respite opportunity is available for foster/adoptive kiddos while caregivers attend First Saturday at the Shop for coffee, training, connection, and encouragement.

🚨 IMPORTANT: REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!

If your child(ren) will be attending, please complete the First Saturday Respite Registration Form as soon as possible.

The registration form asks for information including:

✔️ Parent/guardian contact information

✔️ Names and dates of birth of children attending

✔️ Current childcare enrollment

✔️ Child-care subsidy information

✔️ Required registration and subsidy paperwork

All registration documents and information needed to enroll in the child-care subsidy must be completed by Tuesday, September 29.

💙 FOSTER PARENT APPRECIATION DINNER UPDATE 💙

We have made the difficult decision to postpone the Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner that was scheduled for October 2nd.

Due to lower-than-anticipated RSVP numbers and scheduling conflicts with sports activities and other commitments, we feel postponing the event will give more foster and adoptive families the opportunity to attend and be celebrated. 🫶

We are currently looking at February 2027 and are working on confirming a new date and venue.

We apologize for the change in plans and appreciate your understanding! Once the new date is confirmed, we will share the updated event information and a new RSVP link.

Thank you for your continued support of foster and adoptive families in our community. We look forward to celebrating with you in February! 💙

FIRST SATURDAYS AT THE SHOP ARE COMING SOON! 🎉

We’re excited to announce a new monthly gathering created especially to connect, encourage, equip, and support foster and adopt families. 💙

📅 Our first gathering: The 2nd Saturday in September

📅 After that: The 1st Saturday of each month

☕ Coffee at the Shop — 8 AM

Come grab a cup of coffee, connect with others, and start your Saturday with community!

📚 Training — 9–11 AM

Helpful training, resources, encouragement, and support for foster and adoptive families.

🧸 Moreland Daycare — 8 AM–2 PM

Please check with Sam to confirm hours.

Daycare assistance is available for foster parents through a daycare subsidy. A subsidy application must be completed, and Samantha can help foster parents with that process. Contact Moreland to inquire and get assistance.

💙 Saturday daycare is for foster/adopt kiddos only.
