The Sharon Ruritan Club was glad to present and award Kenny Sprouse with the Buck Rumph Memorial Scholarship at our Summer picnic.
Mr. Sprouse plans on attending Mountain Gateway Community College (Dabney Lancaster Community College) for 2 years and then 2 years in a state college for electronic engineering.

Today we had our roadside and club cleanup. We had a total of 15 club members along with Sheriff Kyle Moore. 11 bags of trash were collected along Rt 60 from the wilderness area near the top of North Mountain to Longdale.

We'd like to thank Sheriff Moore for taking time out of his day to join us.

Thank you to the club members who prepared a delicious meal.
