Today is the last opportunity to visit The Wall That Heals Covington VA at JRSC before it begins to be taken down today to travel to its next destination.

Don’t miss our closing ceremony at 1:45 this afternoon, followed by TAPS and the retirement of flags by the VMI Corp Cadets.

Breakdown of the Wall will begin at 2 PM. If you are not signed up and would like to help with this, please come on down to JRSC.

We would like to thank everyone for signing up to volunteer at The Wall That Heals coming to Covington, VA next week. I wanted to send out a few reminders:

If you did not send in your t-shirt size, rest assured.. we ordered plenty, so ALL volunteers will receive one.

There is a mandatory Volunteer Training for ALL Volunteers on Wednesday, October 2nd at 6:00 PM at the Jackson River Sports Complex (870 W Edgemont Drive, Covington, VA 24426).
This should last no longer than an hour.

If you are able, we would love to have as many volunteers as possible there at 5:30 PM to take a group picture.
You will get your Volunteer t-shirt at the training.

**As many of you are already aware, there is to be no business advertising of any kind at this event. This event is meant to solely honor and respect our Vietnam Veterans. I know there are quite a few businesses signed up to help, so I felt it necessary to re-touch on this.**
