Do you have something you would love to share with our community? Now is your chance! Covenant Christian Academy’s Fall Carnival is looking for vendors to join us for a fun-filled day of food, crafts, handmade items, shopping, family fun, and more! 🍁🎃

🎉📚 HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! 📚🎉

Today is the day! We are so excited to officially welcome our students back for another school year at Covenant Christian Academy! ❤️

A new school year means new beginnings, new friendships, new things to learn, and so many opportunities to grow. We are thankful for each and every student God has entrusted to us and for the families who continue to support our school.

To our students: Be yourself, work hard, be kind, and remember that God has a purpose for you! 🙏

To our parents: Thank you for trusting us with your children. We are so excited to partner with you this year!

And to our teachers and staff: Thank you for all the time, love, and heart you pour into our students. ❤️

🎒📚 Tomorrow is the BIG day! 🍎✏️

We are officially getting ready for the first day of school at Covenant Christian Academy! 💙

The classrooms are ready, the supplies are coming together, and we are so excited to welcome our students back through the doors tomorrow! 🥰

A new school year means new beginnings, new friendships, new things to learn, and lots of opportunities to grow, not just academically, but in our walk with Christ. 🙏❤️

Parents, get those backpacks packed, alarms set, and shoes by the door! 😂🎒

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow morning!

Sometimes the best moments are not the big ones. ❤️

They are the little conversations in the hallway.
The student who finally understands something they have been struggling with.
The teacher who stays a few extra minutes to help.
The friend who encourages another student.
The prayer before class.
The laughter that comes from a classroom full of kids.

Those are the moments that make Covenant Christian Academy special.

We are not just building academic skills. We are building relationships, character, confidence, and faith—one student at a time. ✝️📚

✏️ Please place your payment in an envelope with your name and the student’s name clearly written on it before placing it in the box.

💙 To our Covenant Christian Academy volunteers…A BIG HEARTFELT THANK YOU!💙

As we get ready to welcome our students on September 1, we want to take a minute to say how thankful we are for the people who have chosen to give their time to our students.

You may not realize just how much your presence means. Sitting with a student who needs a little extra help, listening when they need someone to talk to, helping with an assignment, encouraging them when they’re frustrated, playing a game, reading a book, or simply being there—those moments matter. ❤️

Our students need people who will believe in them, encourage them, be patient with them, and remind them that they are capable. Our volunteers help make that possible.

We are a small school, but we have a BIG heart for our kids. And it truly takes a community to love, teach, encourage, and support them. We are so incredibly blessed to have people willing to step in and say, “How can I help?”

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering but weren’t sure if you had enough time or what you could do, please reach out to us. There is a place for you here. Even an hour, an afternoon, or simply being an extra set of hands can make a difference in a child’s life. 💙

Thank you for loving our students, cheering them on, and investing in their lives. We appreciate you more than you know!

We can’t wait to see all of our Covenant Christian Academy families tomorrow, Monday, August 24 at 6:00 PM! 💙💚

🌼 MEET THE TEACHER: LORI LEDFORD 🌼

We are so excited to introduce our amazing kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Lori Ledford! 🍎💕

Lori is a Bath County High School valedictorian and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University. She is also a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, bringing a wonderful background in the medical field and years of experience caring for and working with others.
Her love for teaching and children has taken her many places. Lori taught at the YMCA in Alabama and also worked as a preschool teacher in Alabama, giving her valuable experience working with young children and helping them learn and grow.

Lori is a loving wife and proud mom of two girls, and above all, she loves Jesus and wants to share His love with the children she teaches. ✝️❤️

One of the things that makes Lori so special is that she isn't afraid to get down and dirty with her students! 😂 Whether they are playing outside, exploring, creating, learning, or making a little mess along the way, Mrs. Lori is right there with them! She believes some of the best learning happens when children can experience things for themselves. When she isn't at school, Lori also works at Camp Accovac, where she continues to pour into the lives of children.

We are incredibly blessed to have Mrs. Lori Ledford as part of the Covenant Christian Academy family! We know she is going to love, encourage, teach, and make so many sweet memories with her kindergarten students this year. 🌸📚

As many of you know, I recently fractured my kneecap and will be down until October. This season has definitely been an unexpected challenge, and getting back and forth to school is one of the things we’re trying to figure out.

We’re looking for Covenant Christian Academy families in Covington and Clifton Forge who might be willing to help with carpooling.

Even if you could help just one or two days a week, it would be such a huge blessing to me and my family! 🚗💙
