We had a great morning together learning about pelvic floor health! Missed it? No worries! We have another class later this year!

Dr. Mae Herwald will also be sharing information and tips on our page over the next few months, so follow along! 🩷

Photo two is a sample pelvic floor strengthening program. It's important that you do your pelvic floor contractions (Kegels) correctly!

You need a squeeze + lift ON AN EXHALE BREATH.

Envision a ping pong ball at the "opening". You want to squeeze hold of the ball and "lift it up" towards your belly button.

UPCOMING EMS TRAINING!

This training is led by Crystal Fink, CPM of Breath of Life Midwifery. It ensures that EMS teams can properly identify, treat, and transport pregnant or postpartum patients according to current protocols. Program involves hands-on practice simulating vaginal delivery, pregnancy and postpartum complications, and other obstetrical emergencies. Participants can attend one or both days, though both will provide the most hands-on practice.

Registration is open to local EMT/Paramedics. CEs will be provided!
