Our Southeast Central Region has a lot going on from team camps, to young power sports camps, to leadership camps, to coaches camps! Pray with us that God will work in powerful ways this summer! Southeast Central Region Ministry Highlight!! >> Camp Season has already started in West Kentucky FCA - Area 3! We're praising the Lord for a super fun day at the Heritage Christian Academy Volleyball Day Camp! West Kentucky FCA was invited to participate in the camp and lead a Huddle after lunch! Each participant got the opportunity to take home an FCA Sports edition New Testament!

Southeast Central FCA Region >> Praise the Lord with us for what he's doing through FCA Lacrosse South! From team camps to practices and games, the teams have been busy! We know parents are looking for more than just games on a schedule. FCA Lacrosse Alabama is built around player development, strong coaching, and character, all within a competitive environment that values faith, discipline, and team culture.

FCA's strategy for ministry is >> E3: Engage, Equip, and Empower. As followers of Jesus, we have been called to be disciples who make disciples: “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations…” (Matthew 28:19a). As we follow Him, becoming more like Him every day, we also lead others towards Him. “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1).

Engage >>
We Engage relationally with others in a variety of environments by building genuine trust, sharing our lives, and sharing the Gospel. We strive to connect with coaches and athletes where they are at on their spiritual journey.

Equip >>
After cultivating relationships and once coaches and athletes come to faith in Christ, we want to Equip them with Christ-centered training, tools, and ongoing support. We desire to Equip them with God’s Word so they can grow in Christ and help others know and grow in Him.

Empower >>
Once equipped, we Empower coaches and athletes to help others experience salvation in Jesus, grow in their faith, and share Him with others.

When people join Team FCA, we want them to be teammates for life. No graduates. No alumni. No “used to be in FCAers”! Our goal is to reach athletes at every stage of life on every field, course, campus, court, and track. As we begin wrapping up another school hear and gear up for summer ministry, pray for God to open your eyes to new opportunities for expanding our ministry to kids, adults, and seniors through FCA! Part of our vision behind "FCA FOR LIFE" is for everyone to know that they can be a vital part of FCA as a teammate who can take the hope of the Gospel to every field, court, locker room, classroom, and team room across the state of Alabama!

We LOVE FCA Camp and the season is quickly approaching!! Camp is such an impactful opportunity and FCA offers a variety of camps including leadership, power sports, team, coaches and more. Pray with us as many of our staff are planning and prepping for camps this summer and pray that God will use this upcoming season to save and transform hearts and lives for His GLORY!

Cultivating a heart of PRAYER.

Prayer is essential in the process of spiritual formation. Prayer will be the most difficult habit to form for the ministry leader. Why? Because the enemy would rather have you busy doing things for God rather than spending time with God.

Prayer is the tip of the spear that thrusts through the enemies defenses.

Prayer breaks down barricades of pride and self sufficiency.

Through prayer, we express our dependence on God and seek His guidance and strength. Prayer aligns the minister’s heart with God's purposes and invites His transformative work.

So be diligent in cultivating a heart for prayer through worship. Cultivate a prayerful heart by finding a purpose, a place, a passion, and an unwavering persistence.

Pray, pray, and pray again!

Southeast Central FCA Huddle Highlight >> University of Kentucky FCA wrapped up their last multi-sport huddle for the semester. Several seniors gave bold testimony: PRAISING Jesus for all that He’s done in their lives at UK and ENCOURAGING other athletes to always REMEMBER the Gospel and that our mission in life is to know God and make Him known. Praise the Lord with us for what He's done in and through this huddle over the past semester and pray with us that He will continue to grow these collegiate athletes!
