This Thankful Thursday, we're celebrating the generosity and service of Trail Life Troop #3555 and Kaden Tucker! These generous young people donated and installed picnic tables at our Center, creating a welcoming space for our neighbors to rest and connect when they visit. We're so very grateful for the time and effort everyone poured into this project! As our world grieves the loss of Dolly Parton, we can't help but reflect on a life well lived and well loved. Her story reminds us that with a lot of love and a whole bunch of determination, lives can be transformed, children empowered, and communities forever changed by a legacy.

Last week, our very own Executive Director, Corinne Freeman, was able to support regional efforts to address food insecurity. Thank you to our friends at the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and other local area partners who are helping to increase food security every day!!!

CURRENT STATE OF HUNGER: Data shows that Hamilton County has the lowest overall rate in food insecurity but also ranks the highest in food insecurity above the SNAP threshold.

The Chattanooga Area Food Bank, which serves 20 counties across the Tennessee Valley, says Sequatchie and Grundy Counties have the highest overall food insecurity rate.

As we step into a new week, may our hearts be expectant for all that God has in store!
Just as we eagerly look for the morning light, we can look to Him with hope, knowing His presence is faithful and His promises are sure.
