It's Purple Pinkie Day! Rotary Purple Pinkie Day is an effort to support the eradicate polio worldwide. The tradition stems from polio immunization campaigns in developing countries, where healthcare workers mark children's pinky fingers with purple dye after they've received the oral polio vaccine. This simple marking serves as a visual indicator that a child has been immunized, preventing duplicate administrations during mass vaccination campaigns.

The "Purple Pinkie" concept a fundraising and awareness-raising event supporting polio eradication efforts.

Bradley Sunrise Rotary February 5 meeting is cancelled. Our club has a standing policy that if the county schools are cancelled then so is our 7:00 am meeting.
