Mentor recruitment for the 2026/2027 school year is underway!

The True2U Mentoring Program pairs volunteer mentors with all CMSD 8th graders and supports these students as they work to better understand themselves and prepare for high school as the first step toward career readiness.

Harlem Rhapsody covers the extraordinary story of the woman who ignited the Harlem Renaissance. We'll be reading and discussing this book at NLI's next Community Book Club. This facilitated discussion group meets IN-PERSON on Sept 5th to discuss chapters 1-6. Then we'll meet ONLINE for the remaining five sessions, ending on October 13th.
