🏪 Agency Spotlight: North Coast Community Homes

Food rescue is about more than moving food from one place to another. It's about making sure that food reaches people and organizations in our community where it can make a difference.

We're grateful to partner with North Coast Community Homes, an organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living more independently and being active members of their communities.

When rescued food arrives at North Coast Community Homes, it becomes more than a donation- it becomes an opportunity to support the people they serve while helping stretch valuable resources.

A huge thank you to North Coast Community Homes for being part of the Food Rescue US- Akron community and for the work you do every day to support the people you serve.

The NCCH team has been busy. Volunteering at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, hosting our annual Resident Picnic & Field Day, followed by yearly Fair Housing training. Go Team NCCH!

The main priority at North Coast Community Homes is the residents and achieving our mission to deliver stable, safe, and supportive homes for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.

But, we can’t do it alone! In recognition of Direct Support Professionals Week, a great big THANK YOU to our care partner organizations, and the direct support professionals who positively support NCCH in our work to provide quality housing and supportive resources to our residents. THANK YOU!
