The Savor the Moment Coffee Shop was absolutely the place to be this past Friday! ☕️✨

We had a fantastic turnout for the Cleveland Police First District’s Coffee with a Cop event. Commander Woods, along with officers from the First District and Community Relations, got to sit down, chat, and connect with so many wonderful neighbors over a hot cup of coffee.

Building a stronger community starts with good conversation (and maybe a little caffeine!). A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to come out, ask questions, and share a laugh with us.

Big News! Our March Community Partner of the Month is... 🏆🍳

Join us in celebrating Kristina's Family Restaurant! If you’ve ever stopped by their spot at 9912 Lorain Rd, you know they don't just serve up delicious food—they treat everyone, especially our CPD officers, like family.

Kristina’s has been a huge supporter of the First District’s Coffee with a Cop events. Officer Kerry Adams says they are always the first to step up and host, making sure our officers and neighbors have a warm place to chat and get to know each other over a fresh cup of coffee. ☕️👮‍♂️

Thank you to the whole crew at Kristina’s for your devotion to our city and for making Cleveland a friendlier place for everyone. Next time you're in the neighborhood, stop in and say hi!

There’s nothing like a Sunday morning filled with good food and even better company! 🍳☕️

Commander Tim Maffo-Judd and our Cleveland Police Second District Officers traded their patrol cars for aprons this past weekend to cook up a Mother's Day breakfast for the wonderful members of the Hispanic Senior Center.

Everyone showed up in their Sunday best—we saw some truly amazing hats! 👒 From the delicious food to the music and dancing, it was an incredible morning of celebrating the moms in our community. Thank you to the Hispanic Senior Center for having us!

Going Above and Beyond for Our Most Vulnerable 💙🛡️

We are so proud to name Officers Ismael Vega, Dionte Pearl, and Robquetta Lavender as our Officers of the Month!

Late last month, Officers Vega and Pearl found a young man standing in the freezing rain, injured and scared. Realizing he had a mental disability and nowhere safe to go, these officers didn't just "do their job"—they stepped up like family. They got him medical care, found him warm clothes, and even bought him dinner out of their own pockets. 🥪🥤

Because the young man was so determined not to miss school, the officers let him rest safely at the Second District station overnight. When the sun came up, Officer Lavender stepped in to help, providing him with toiletries and making sure he got to school on time. 🏫

Thanks to their heart and hard work, Child Family Services was able to step in and find a safe placement for him. It’s stories like this that remind us why our officers are so vital to Cleveland. Join us in thanking them for their incredible compassion! 👏👏

They’re off! 🚴‍♂️💙

Earlier this week, Team Greater Cleveland kicked off their 300-mile bike ride to Washington, D.C., after a special blessing from Cleveland Division of Police Chaplain Father Brown. They aren't riding alone—they’re joining forces with about 700 Chapter 1 riders and over 1,700 others from all over the U.S. and Israel!

The goal? To reach the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial to honor those who gave everything in the line of duty.

Let’s show our local riders some love in the comments! Stay safe out there, Team Greater Cleveland. We are so proud of your hard work and heart.

Supporting Our Heroes in Blue! 👮‍♂️💙

May is a special month for the Cleveland Police Foundation! We’re taking the time to say a huge "Thank You" to the men and women of the Cleveland Division of Police for their bravery and dedication to our city.

From May 9th through the 16th, Cleveland will be buzzing with events for National Police Week, including parades, vigils, and social gatherings. We are also incredibly proud of Team Greater Cleveland, who are currently cycling all the way to D.C. for the national Unity Tour! CPF is thrilled to help them get there with gear and financial support. 🚴‍♂️💨

A big thanks to everyone who joined us for Coffee with a Cop at Canary’s Restaurant today! ☕️🚓

Our Cleveland Police First District officers spent the morning engaging in some truly meaningful conversations with the folks from the Puritas neighborhood. Whether we were talking about neighborhood safety or just sharing a laugh over breakfast, it’s these face-to-face moments that make our community so special.

It was a great day over at the Cleveland Police Second District! 🥪 Our officers were treated to a delicious lunch today, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

A massive thank you to Sam & Katie Dejoy and Mr. & Mrs. Bill Gallagher, along with the Cleveland Police Foundation, for providing the boxed lunches, salads, and desserts. It’s gestures like these that remind our officers how much the community has their backs.

Also, a quick shoutout to our friends from UPS for stopping by and showing their support! Thanks for helping us make this happen. 🤝💙
