Thank you to everyone who came out to learn with us ✨🌱💧🛢️

Yesterday’s Rain Barrel Workshop showed how small environmental actions can make a real difference in our neighborhoods.

Residents joined us at Killingsworth Meeting Place as Nichole, Watershed Coordinator from Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, demonstrated how rain barrels work and gave a hands-on walkthrough of installing a diverter system.

For NuSEEDs, this work is about more than collecting rainwater. It is about teaching residents how to better manage stormwater, support gardens, reduce runoff, and build stronger, greener communities from the ground up.

Our team also plans to continue supporting this work by participating in this year’s annual Stormwater RUN-Off 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Clark Field Park in Tremont. We would love for community members to join us 🏃🏾‍♀️
