Thank you to everyone who joined us for our last luncheon of the year! It was a fantastic afternoon of community, recognition, and celebration as we wrapped up another successful year in Johnson County.

‼️Update: Despite the best efforts from the building community, city officials & home owners- Johnson County Special Utility District
board of directors passed to adopt the increase of water impact fees to $10,750 effective Jan 1, 2026.

⚠️IMPACT FEE INCREASE MEETING ⚠️

The Johnson County Special Utility District (JCSUD) is considering a substantial increase to their water impact fee — from $7,500 to $13,400 per connection. If adopted as proposed, this change could affect project feasibility, sales contracts, and buyer pricing across the region.

This decision will be made today at the Board of Directors Meeting - Tuesday, August 19 at 4:30 PM, held at JCSUD Headquarters
