🎒 A new school year is right around the corner… and together, we can help students start strong. 💜

ReInspire is collecting school supplies for local students of all ages, and we need your help!

Whether it’s a backpack, notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, or any other school essentials, every donation helps equip a child with the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who attended ReInspire’s very first luncheon today.

To look around the room and see so many people who care about our youth, our community, and the mission of ReInspire was incredibly humbling. There are days when this work is hard, but moments like today remind me exactly why we do it.

When I took on this role, one of my biggest goals was to bring more awareness to the needs of the young people we serve and to build a community of people willing to stand beside them. Today felt like a huge step in that direction.

A special thank you to Saint Mark’s Church for opening your doors and allowing us to use your fellowship hall. Thank you to Ally Medical Emergency Room for sponsoring this event and believing in what we do. Your support helps make opportunities like this possible.

Thank you, Helen Kerwin, for stopping by and for your kind words of encouragement. It truly meant a lot.

I also want to recognize our board members, volunteers, and supporters. While I may be the one standing at the podium, none of this happens without the people who work behind the scenes, give their time, pray for us, donate, and show up when we need them.

Today was our first luncheon, but it certainly won’t be our last. We have big dreams for ReInspire, and I am excited to continue sharing our mission with this community that has always shown up when it matters most.

Thank you for believing in our youth. Thank you for believing in ReInspire. And thank you for reminding me today that we are not doing this work alone. ❤️

💜 We would love to invite our ReInspire family and community to join us tomorrow at the Hope Encounter Women’s Conference!

We are especially excited that our Executive Director, Cassie Moore, will be one of the featured speakers, sharing her heart for serving youth and young adults in our community and the mission behind ReInspire.

We’re also proud to see Lisa Silva Boultinghouse with The Center for ASD speaking at this incredible event. Lisa is a strong advocate for families and individuals with autism, and we know her message will inspire and encourage so many.

This conference is filled with amazing speakers, worship, encouragement, community, and stories of faith, hope, and resilience.

Tomorrow I’ll have the honor of being the Spotlight Speaker at the Keene Chamber of Commerce Monthly Networking Luncheon 💜

I’ll be sharing more about ReInspire, our mission, and the reality of what so many youth and young adults in our community are facing as they navigate life, independence, housing insecurity, foster care, and crisis situations.

What started as volunteering turned into something that completely changed my life. Today, I get to be part of helping young people find stability, support, life skills, and hope for a better future.

I’m excited to connect with the community, share our story, spread awareness, and continue building relationships with people who truly care about making a difference.

Thank you to the Keene Chamber for the opportunity to spotlight ReInspire and the work being done right here in Johnson County. 💜

Legacy lives on in the lives we help shape 💜

Today, we’re honored to celebrate something incredibly special—the Charise Schroeder Olson Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the Texas Democratic Women of Johnson County.

Charise’s heart was always for people. For helping others rise. For creating opportunities where there once were obstacles.

And seeing her name continue to open doors for young people? That’s powerful.

Congratulations to Addison Trevino and Brigid Morgan, the scholarship recipients this year 👏✨ We are cheering you on as you step into your next chapter.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in keeping Charise’s legacy alive in such a meaningful way. What a beautiful reminder that impact doesn’t end—it keeps growing through the lives we touch.

At ReInspire, this hits especially close to home, because legacy is exactly what we continue building every single day 💜

Two years ago today, we lost the heart behind ReInspire — our founder, Charise Olson.

Charise had a vision bigger than herself. She saw the youth in our community who felt forgotten, overlooked, or alone, and she made it her mission to remind them they mattered. Because of her, ReInspire became a place of hope, service, and connection for so many young people in Johnson County.

Even in her absence, her impact continues every single day. It lives in every young adult who finds stability through Launch Pads, every teen who walks through our doors for support, every volunteer who chooses to show up, and every life that is changed through this organization she built from the ground up.

There are still moments where it’s hard to believe she’s gone. But we carry her vision forward with pride, purpose, and love.

Thank you, Charise, for believing in our youth before anyone else did. Thank you for building something that continues to change lives long after your passing. Your legacy will never be forgotten. 💜

Last night was powerful.

73 days.
That’s the average amount of time a child is missing before they’re found when trapped in s*x trafficking.

73 days of fear.
73 days of silence.
73 days of someone waiting… hoping… praying someone shows up.

But organizations like Freed People are showing up.
Every single day.

They are on the front lines—working alongside law enforcement, finding victims, and bringing them home. Real people. Real rescues. Real impact.

And here’s the part that hit me the hardest…
This work doesn’t happen without people who care.

People willing to learn.
People willing to speak up.
People willing to be part of the solution.

Because these aren’t “someone else’s kids.”
They’re OUR kids.

I’m grateful to have witnessed the heart behind this mission and the lives being changed because of it.

More awareness.
More action.
More freedom.

Let’s be the kind of community that doesn’t look away.
