We are a no-kill shelter and our goal is to place spayed/neutered pets, who due to no fault of their own have lost their homes, back into loving homes.

Friends for Animals is a small non-profit, no-kill adoption shelter. We can house 10-20 dogs in our facility. The grounds consist of heated/air conditioned kennel space. In nice weather our dogs are able to exercise in outdoor play yards. Our adoption area and meet/greet room is housed in a white frame house.

Recently Bailey decided to come in & take a break with our staff in the office. As mentioned in an earlier post she is certainly a house dog. She took a few moments to walk around & visit with everyone & then decided Debbie & Hope needed some special attention so she waited politely to be invited on the bench where they could adore her with pets! Bailey is a 1 year old female Pry mix. She is full grown at 60 lbs. & has a lovely personality, walks on leash & loves her toys. Bailey is NOT a livestock dog. If you're interested in adopting Bailey call Friends for Animals 817-326-3647 to set up a meet/greet appt. &/or ask any questions. Phones are answered Noon-3 pm Tues., Thur., Fri. & Sat.
