Great meeting yesterday with Nicole Queen of Rabun Paws 4 Life Shelter speaking (pictured below with her favorite dog! Lots to learn about Paws - Rabun County's NO-KILL shelter! They are funded by donations - hint, hint!!
Donations can be mailed to:

Or you can volunteer - how about walking a dog or playing with a kitty??? Or drop off some kitty/dog food!!!!

We also got a visit from Ellie Swanson and Jennifer Wood (pictured with our President Laura Schott) of Dickens in Dillard - an event on Dec. 10, 2026 on the grounds of Dillard City Hall! Come be transported to Merry Ole England! Vendors, Santa, Food, elegant dinner and wine tasting...check them out! They also need volunteers and vendors!

We are decorating a tree with toys for kids! Come bid on our tree - for a good cause North Georgia Arts Guild for their art student scholarships and projects!

Here are our board members hard at work planning 2026-2027 year!

Lots of event participation planned! Foxfire, Trunk or Treat, Festival of Trees, Nursing Home Visits, Ramshackle 2027, Foster Parents Night Out, Dickens in Dillard, Halloween at the Rock House, Christmas Parade....whew!

Projects planned: Terrific Kids, Literacy Backpacks, Kiwanis One Day and more!

How about dishing up ice cream for 200 Terrific Kids? We will have fun at the Rabun School with Terrific Kids' Awards and culminating with our Ice Cream Party 3/17/2027!

We welcome donations for our pre-school backpack project and more!
