🥾 FROM BOARDROOMS TO TRAILHEADS…

What does it take to put a mountain town on the Appalachian Trail map?

This Wednesday, we’re welcoming Bill Bennett to 1 Million Cups Clayton!

After more than 20 years in Atlanta’s office furniture industry, progressing into senior leadership, Bill traded city life for the mountains. He has managed Clayton’s since it opened and serves as chairman of the Clayton Appalachian Trail Committee Council.

Bill led the multi-year effort that earned Clayton its designation as an official Appalachian Trail Community. Much like building a startup, it required a clear vision, community buy-in, strong partnerships, and the determination to keep moving forward.

He’ll share how it happened and what Clayton’s growing connection to the trail means for local businesses.
