📣 Clarksville-Montgomery County Families: Get Future Ready!

What’s your student’s plan after high school? College? Career training? Military? Workforce? Still figuring it out? That’s exactly what Future Ready is here to help with.

PostGrad Ready is launching the 2027 Future Ready Program, a FREE, yearlong experience for students in grades 9–12 from low- and moderate-income households.

Students will receive support with:
🎓 College & career exploration
📝 ACT preparation
💰 Scholarships & financial aid
📚 College applications
💼 Career & professional skills
🛠️ Technical & career training pathways
🎖️ Military & post-high school planning

Seniors: Eligible seniors who participate may also receive transition microgrants to help with expenses connected to their plans after high school.

Readiness Includes Hope.

This may be one of our favorite outcomes from the June College & Career Boot Camp:

92% of students surveyed said they left feeling hopeful about their future.

We can give young people information about applications, scholarships, careers, and finances… and we should.

But we also want them to leave believing there are possibilities ahead of them.

Knowledge creates options.
Exposure expands possibilities.
Support helps students believe those possibilities can become reality.

That’s the impact we want to create.

This summer, 27 students participated in PostGrad Ready’s College & Career Boot Camp spending the day exploring opportunities, asking questions, building skills, and preparing for what comes after high school.

College. Career. Military. Skilled trades.

The pathway may look different for every student, but our goal remains the same: make sure young people have the information, exposure, and support to confidently take their next step.

And their feedback tells us we’re making an impact.

Last week, students spent part of their summer investing in their future at the PostGrad Ready College & Career Boot Camp.

Throughout the day, students explored career options, learned about military and postsecondary pathways, developed financial literacy skills, built professional networks, and created action plans for life after high school. Most importantly, they were surrounded by professionals, mentors, and community leaders who reminded them that their future is full of possibilities.

PostGrad Ready is a Clarksville-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2023 with a simple but important mission: to help students navigate life after high school with confidence, knowledge, and purpose. We believe every student deserves access to information, opportunities, relationships, and resources that help them make informed decisions about their future—regardless of their background or circumstances.

Whether a student chooses college, trade school, military service, entrepreneurship, or the workforce, our goal is to help them understand their options, develop practical life skills, and create a plan for what's next. We know that talent is everywhere, but access is not. That's why we are committed to creating experiences that expose students to opportunities and equip them for success.

What started as an idea in 2023 has grown into a community effort supported by families, educators, professionals, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners who believe in investing in the next generation.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Boot Camp possible. Your support is helping students build confidence, expand their possibilities, and prepare for their future.

We did it again!

Last week, high school students from across our community participated in the 2026 PostGrad Ready College & Career Boot Camp. Students spent the day exploring career options, learning about college and financial aid, building practical life skills, connecting with professionals, and preparing for life after high school.

While the workshops and information were valuable, what inspired us most was seeing students engage, ask questions, make connections, and begin thinking more intentionally about their futures.

At PostGrad Ready, we believe every student deserves access to the knowledge, resources, and support needed to pursue their goals with confidence. Events like this are possible because of a community that believes in investing in young people and helping them discover what's possible.

Thank you to our presenters, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, students, and families for making this year's Boot Camp a success. Your support helped create an experience that will continue to impact students long after the event ended.

We are excited to share a few highlights from the day and look forward to continuing our work of helping students become PostGrad Ready.
