Rotary Club of Clark County Indiana is a part of the Rotary International organization formed to serve Clark County Indiana, the Region and beyond.

Formed in 2022 with the merging of the Rotary Club of Jeffersonville and the Rotary Club of Clarksville

14 RCCC club members and 1 Kiwanis member visited the Center for Lay Ministries Food Pantry & Bliss House today for a 3 hour service opportunity. We painted, packed, deep cleaned and enjoyed great fellowship.

Recently through a Rotary District 6580 grant and matching funds from the club we provided and installed an industrial garage door opener for the warehouse.

The RCCC makes weekly food and money donations to CLM to help provide needed food resources for those who are food insecure.

Kara Brown, Executive Director of the Center for Lay Ministries gave us a tour and worked alongside the members.

On Wednesday, October 21 the Rotary Club of Clark County will hear from John Secor, Clark Regional Airport Manager, who will provide an inside look at the airport, including current developments, operations and what's ahead. In addition to his airport responsibilities, Secor is a Boeing 767 Captain for United Parcel Service Airlines. All are welcome to join us!

YESTERDAY AT RCCC:

Our featured speaker was Dr. Galen Clavio, professor in The Media School at Indiana University Bloomington, Director of the Sports Media Program and Director of the National Sports Journalism Center.

Dr. Clavio teaches courses in sports broadcasting, sports and social media, and the sports media industry. He is also the host of CrimsonCast, the long-running podcast focused on IU athletics.

Also we had special guests: Francesca Hernandez and Chloe Merkle, two teachers at Jeffersonville High School who have ask to lead the new Jeffersonville High School Interact Club. They reported their initial enrollment in the Club is 58 students. Students willing to serve others above self! We are excited to work with them and eager to help!

ALSO, we had the OG Rotaract member of the IUS Rotaract Club. Regan Lanum is a student at IUS and is looking for like minded IUS students to serve alongside him.
