📸 Ministry Update: Lives Are Being Transformed

Dear Friends and Supporters,

At Transformation Network, we believe that every person deserves hope, a second chance, and the opportunity to discover the purpose God has for their life. In the past, people knew us as a staffing and work program for the City of Ashland and surrounding communities. Although we still provide staffing, Transformation Network’s primary focus is helping men coming out of prison and/or homelessness. Our program is a holistic approach where we provide onsite work, bible studies, life skills, recreation, housing and much more.

Our New Steps participants recently completed a remodeling project that became much more than a construction job. It served as a classroom where the men learned valuable skills in remodeling, flooring, siding, deck building, and operating equipment. More importantly, it became a place where character was developed, confidence was restored, and faith continued to grow.
Each project provides an opportunity to teach a trade, instill a strong work ethic, and prepare these men for meaningful employment. But our ultimate goal reaches far beyond the job site. We are committed to discipling men, encouraging them in their walk with Christ, and helping them build lives founded on hope, responsibility, and purpose.

One of the greatest blessings this year has been the opportunity to share the Gospel with more than 450 men through prison ministry and outreach efforts. Whether serving on a job site, mentoring one-on-one, sharing a meal together, or opening God's Word, we are reminded that lasting transformation begins with Jesus Christ.
None of this would be possible without your prayers, encouragement, and generous support. Every opportunity to teach a skill, provide employment, offer discipleship, or share the Gospel is made possible through faithful partners who believe in this ministry and the lives being changed.

As you look through these photos, we hope you see more than construction projects or completed jobs. We hope you see lives being restored, men discovering their God-given purpose, and a community of believers working together to build God's Kingdom—one life at a time.

Bring One!

Scripture: “The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples, and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, ‘Behold, the Lamb of God!’ The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, ‘What are you seeking?’ And they said to him, ‘Rabbi’ (which means Teacher), ‘where are you staying?’ He said to them, ‘Come and you will see.’ So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means Christ). He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, ‘You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas” (which means Peter).’” — John 1:35–42

Thought: There is something beautifully ordinary about this story. John the Baptist sees Jesus walking by and says, "Behold, the Lamb of God."

That's it. No sermon. No manipulation. No emotional appeal. Just a simple proclamation: look at Jesus.

And two men look... One of them is Andrew. After spending one afternoon with Jesus, Andrew doesn't immediately begin preaching to crowds or start a ministry. He goes looking for his brother... "He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, 'We have found the Messiah.'"

I love that. Andrew's first instinct wasn't to build a platform. It was to find others.

He didn't know much theology yet. He couldn't explain the Trinity. He hadn't witnessed a miracle. He couldn't answer most theological questions. He knew one thing: "I have found Jesus, and you've got to meet Him."

Then John records one of the most beautiful sentences in the New Testament: "Andrew brought Simon to Jesus."

He didn't change Peter. He didn't convince Peter. He didn't save Peter. He just brought him to Jesus.

Think about what happened because of that simple act. Peter would preach at Pentecost. Peter would strengthen the early church. Peter would write two books of the New Testament. Peter would faithfully suffer for Christ.

But before Peter ever preached a sermon...someone loved him enough to say, "Come meet Jesus."

Never underestimate what God can do through one faithful invitation.

Most of us dream about changing the world. God often changes the world one conversation at a time. One cup of coffee. One Bible study. One testimony. One brother bringing another brother to Jesus.

You're probably never going to stand before thousands. You'll never write a book. Most of us will never preach a Sunday sermon.

But you can bring one person to Christ. And you have no idea what God might do through that one life.

Reflect: Ask yourself, “Who first brought me to Jesus? Have I thanked God for them recently?” If not, maybe give them a call or send a text. Let them know how your life has changed.

Right Next Step: Make a list of three names. Not strangers. People already in your life. A family member. A friend. A coworker. A neighbor. Then ask God, "Who is my Simon Peter?"

Pray for that person every day this week. Look for an opportunity to invite them into a spiritual conversation. Remember, your job is not to change hearts. Your job is to bring people to Jesus. He is the One who changes lives.

Prayer: “Lord Jesus, thank You for the people who pointed me to You. Thank You for family members, friends, pastors, and faithful witnesses who refused to stay silent. Give me the heart of Andrew. Help me to see the people You've already placed in my life, and give me the courage to speak about You to them. Use my ordinary faithfulness to accomplish extraordinary things for Your kingdom. Amen.”

We’re currently seeking experienced MIG welders to join a small, dedicated fabrication shop in the Mansfield area where craftsmanship isn’t just a job—it’s a passion.

This isn’t an entry-level role. We want professionals who take pride in their work from start to finish, can interpret blueprints with precision, and deliver welds that stand the test of time. If you thrive in a hands-on environment alongside a close-knit team, this opportunity offers stable full-time employment with excellent benefits and room to grow.

Your Role as a MIG Welder
As a key player in our fabrication team, you’ll use specialized welding equipment to build and assemble custom metal products with exacting standards. Your work will contribute directly to the quality and reliability of the finished pieces, and you’ll have the chance to apply your expertise in both MIG and, ideally, TIG welding techniques.

What You’ll Do
Fabricate and manufacture metal products using specialized welding equipment
Weld and assemble components to meet precise specifications
Install and repair equipment and metal structures as needed
Read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints and schematics
Measure materials and verify dimensions for quality compliance
Perform quality tests on welds to ensure strength and durability
Primarily use MIG (GMAW) welding; TIG (GTAW) welding experience is a strong plus
Handle physical tasks including lifting and positioning heavy materials
Operate welding equipment safely and perform minor maintenance
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

What We’re Looking For
At least 3 years of proven experience in fabrication and welding in a professional setting
Strong familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and fabrication procedures
Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and schematics
Solid experience with MIG welding; TIG welding skills highly preferred
Physical stamina to handle workload, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials
Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a small team
Flexibility to work first shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), including occasional 10- and 12-hour shifts and Saturdays
Ability to commute to Mansfield, OH, with willingness to work at Smithville, OH, as needed
MIG and TIG experience is favorable
