Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will soon be available to ALL children under the age of 5 in Indiana!! 📖

The library is already available in some locations of Porter, La Porte, Lake, and Newton Counties!

The Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners.

Hi! We are excited to share a little bit about us and our goals for the year!!

Clark County Reads is engaged in several community literacy initiatives, its flagship project is Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books each month to children from birth until the age of 5. The books are hand-selected by a committee of early childhood experts that are age appropriate and align with the child’s developmental needs. Books are mailed every month to families who sign up, for free! We are super ambitious to get this program introduced to Clark County!
