Event will be held at the Elk's Lodge at 1820 N Summit Dr in Claremore at 6:30pm. Guests have the option to dress in old Hollywood attire or in a Halloween costume!

📣 14 kids are waiting for mentors — and our next training is coming up!

Right now, 14 students in our local schools are waiting to be matched with a mentor. 💙

If you’ve been thinking about becoming a mentor, now is the perfect time to get started! We are planning our next Mentor Training for Wednesday, September 9.

Mentoring is just one hour a week during the school year, but that one hour can mean so much to a child. You don’t need any special skills or experience — just a willingness to show up, spend time together, and be someone they can count on.

Come talk with us to learn more about the BLAST After School Program, what we offer, and how your child can get involved! We’ll be there to answer questions and help families get registered for the 2026–2027 school year!

We are honored to be recognized by Rogers State University’s Hill Club for our support of the university’s new disc golf course!

Through Rogers County TSET Impact Network’s funding, Volunteers for Youth contributed towards the course’s target baskets, supplies, and expand opportunities for students and community members to get outside, stay active and enjoy a fun, accessible form of recreation.

Thank you to RSU for this special recognition and for partnering with us to make healthy choices easier in Rogers County. We can’t wait to see the students, faculty, and community enjoying the new course! 🥏🐾👏🏼
