Sommer's Story Sommer my Great Pyrenees/Anatolian was my first rescue. Tiny girl at 8 weeks old a fluffy ball of wonder.

Sommer's Rescue Transport is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that will be the bridge between what was and what will be for dogs, and puppies to find their forever homes. Who grew into a confident, beautiful, loyal protector of our family. She crossed the bridge at just 8 years of age, and came to me in a dream shortly after. Pulling me towards so many dogs and puppies. I knew she was telling me to

open my heart and be a voice for the unwanted and abused, of course I followed her instructions and opened my heart to the rescue community. It’s Sommer’s bright light that guides me in my passion of rescue...

Choo Choo 🚂
June Bug express has pulled into the train yard for clean up and restocking. Sorry 🙄 for the delayed post, I was so exhausted from a stressful week.

SUCCESS for all the puppies who were exemplary, had some rain with weird looking cloud again all the way to Bloomington Illinois, but I've decided that the best calming sound (rain on the top of the van) for traveling pups! 🌨

Not too many extra stops💩, so we arrived about 5 pm. The volunteers and staff loved everyone of them.

Thank you too all the special volunteers and transporters, getting up that early just isn't fun, but seeing the pups get adopted sure is!!♥️

May Flowers Transport Train is complete. Beautiful full moon, wonderful volunteers and transporters. Gorgeous babies getting a second chance. Cotton candy pink clouds to dark storm clouds.

Happy Mother Day 🐾💕

It was a rainy morning, cold and damp until the sun broke through, then we had sunshine until the hail started, then the sun came out again !!! WOWZA

These pups had some early convo's with each other in the beginning, however as each dropped off to sugar plums and chicken hearts 💕 they slept quietly most of the way.

The sunrise was beautiful but as we got to East St Louis ran into a hail core with rain, but the temp was 55 degrees, so the hail was more like melting snowballs, ❄️🌧🌬 crazy!

Thanks to the rescues, shelters, fosters, volunteers and transporters that get these babies on the road to a new home.

Of course Anderson Humane for always helping our Oklahoma pups!

Oh what a day! Started at 4:45am some fog driving into Catoosa for the loading at 5am.

We had the cutest and loudest puppies and momma dog Wynter. Driving to Joplin, a beautiful cresent moon 🌙 and rain it rained once I reached the east side of Joplin until Lebanon, Mo.

I just know the super six were singing the song of their people UNTIL.. Momma told them to hush and go to sleep, and they did "What" 🙄

Lots of poops not much pukes which was kinda good??? Arrived an hour late but the pups didn't care. Almost got squashed by a semi who did not yield and ran me next to concrete wall. I slammed on the brakes and thanked my angels for protecting us🌟

I could not believe the gas prices, I posted a couple of photos of prices and what it costs me for a half a tank of gas.. That's why its so important to donate to your transporters. At this price who knows how long we can do this.

Thank you to all who got up early drove 2 to 3 hours to bring these pups a chance at a good life.♥️
