Every organization has stories worth telling. Fewer know how to shape them so an audience actually acts. Storytelling That Moves People: A Three-Part Communications Series for Nonprofits is a series from SunnyBlu Art Agency that starts with storytelling fundamentals and builds from there. The three free workshops are from 1 to 3 p.m. in person at Interact for Health's office, with snacks provided. Individuals can register for all or for select sessions; participants will get the most out of the series when the same person attends all three sessions, since each workshop builds on the last, but it's not required.

There are two more weeks to apply for the next Data for Equity cohort and RFP! Applications are due October 7.

The bi3 Fund, HealthPath Foundation of Ohio, and Interact for Health are seeking applications for the fourth cohort of the Data for Equity Funding Collaborative. The Collaborative plans to award 18-month grants of $40,000 to as many as 10 nonprofit and governmental organizations focused on health or health justice. Last week, our President and CEO, Kate Schroder, spoke at the Women's Fund of Greater Cincinnati Foundation's Appointed Civic Leadership Academy, which prepares women to serve on local boards and commissions.

She talked about her own path into leadership and about how often women wait to feel qualified before they step forward.

Thank you to the Women's Fund for making space for these conversations. The rooms where decisions happen should look like the communities they affect.
