Each year, more than 15,000 family members, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and advocates gather to celebrate the incredible contributions of people with Down syndrome while raising vital funds that power our programs, support services, advocacy efforts, outreach, and resources throughout our region.

Take a one-mile stroll through beautiful Sawyer Point & Yeatman's Cove surrounded by music, entertainment, and excitement every step of the way. After the walk, stay for an unforgettable celebration featuring food, drinks, family-friendly activities, and giveaways!

What a fantastic week at Fine Motor Camp for little ones ages 5-8! ✏️🖍️✂️

Throughout the week, participants worked on building the foundational skills that support success in the classroom and beyond. Through fun, individualized activities, campers practiced fine motor coordination, handwriting readiness, and school-based self-care skills, all while gaining confidence and having a great time with friends.

A special thank you to the incredible team from Comprehensive Concepts in Speech and Hearing, Inc. for leading this therapeutic camp. By combining the expertise of Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and Speech-Language Pathology, they created a supportive and engaging environment where every child could learn, grow, and thrive.

We loved watching our campers strengthen their skills, celebrate their accomplishments, and make meaningful progress throughout the week. 💙

🎓 Introducing our PreK Prep Graduates! 🎓

Over the past several weeks, these amazing preschoolers have been building the skills and confidence needed for a successful transition to the classroom.

PreK Prep was designed to introduce foundational classroom routines, including following a visual schedule, participating in circle time, taking turns, and following group directions during fine and gross motor activities. Through songs, stories, movement, play, and themed learning experiences, participants practiced important early learning skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Along the way, our graduates worked toward increasing awareness of their peers, improving attention and engagement during group activities, and transitioning between activities with greater independence and fewer prompts.

A special thank you to our School-Based therapists, Robin and Jeremy Schulz, for leading this class with such knowledge, dedication, and passion. 💙

What a beautiful few days for this year's Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati Golf Outing, presented by Links Unlimited and hosted by Dave Lapham! ☀️⛳

We kicked things off with our Golf Sponsor Reception on Saturday alongside Dave Lapham, Dan Hoard, and Teddy Kremer. The evening featured the presentation of the inaugural Bell Family Legacy Award, honoring the family whose vision and commitment helped transform a memorial tournament into a tradition that has supported the Down syndrome community for more than 30 years.

The celebration continued Monday at Maketewah Country Club, where picture-perfect weather set the stage for two successful flights. But what truly made the day special was the incredible community of sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and committee members who came together in support of the Down syndrome community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's outing one to remember!

What a great day on the farm this past Sunday! We loved hosting so many amazing families for a day of outdoorsy fun.

From orchard exploring and animal petting to trike rides and the jumping pad, the farm offered endless entertainment for all ages! When the afternoon showers rolled in, the fun simply moved inside the barn, where families enjoyed snacks and face painting together.

Thank you to the Great Park Rangers for hosting an amazing Safety Town! 🚦👮‍♂️

Our families had a fantastic time learning all about traffic safety in the most fun, engaging way possible. Through interactive education stations, the kids explored vital vehicle and pedestrian safety lessons.

The absolute highlight? Testing out their new skills on the driving course and earning a well-deserved prize after completing all the activities!

It was truly a wonderful day filled with learning, smiles, and community fun. We are so grateful for our park rangers! 🌳✨
