Pictures of the Transform house for reference. Important info for tomorrow.
A bit of an update:
Tomorrow evening we will be gathering as a community to honor and remember Murry Foust. We wanted to share a few details so folks know what to expect and can plan ahead.
Doors will open at 5pm and the event itself will begin around 6pm.
We are trying to create a space that allows people to process, grieve, connect, remember, create, and simply be around community.
What will be available: Candlelight vigil on the front lawn
Pizza from Scarlotto’s, snacks, and drinks provided
Five local therapists volunteering their time if folks need support or someone to talk to
An artist with a loom creating grounding art space throughout the evening
A memorial book for folks to sign and leave messages
Fidgets, stickers, and sensory supports available
Quieter decompression spaces for anyone needing a break from the crowd
Open mic space for memories, reflections, music, poetry, or sharing
We will also have community clergy present who are supportive, grounded, and not focused on formal religious structure.
Parking: There is street parking available for several blocks around the building. We also recommend Cary Road as an additional parking option nearby. We are located near several bus stops as well.
Please note: Our small lot behind the house will remain closed for staff use, safety, and moving supplies throughout the event. We appreciate everyone helping us keep that space clear.
