Today, we honor Juneteenth, the day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates Black freedom, resilience, culture, and community.

At Transform, we recognize that liberation is ongoing work. The fight for racial justice, LGBTQ+ equality, and the dignity of all people are deeply connected. We are grateful for the Black leaders, activists, artists, and community members whose courage and advocacy continue to shape a more just and inclusive future.

As we honor Juneteenth, we also reflect on the work that remains and recommit ourselves to creating spaces where every person can live authentically, safely, and with dignity.

Happy Juneteenth.

BARBIE BEACH BASH PRIDE WEEKEND

Join Transform, NAMI Southwest Ohio, and Community Shares of Greater Cincinnati as we get ready for Cincinnati Pride with a Barbie Beach Bash themed weekend.

FRIDAY, JUNE 26 | 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Help us decorate our Cincinnati Pride parade float. Whether you’re crafty, creative, or just want to spend time with community, we’d love your help bringing our Barbie Beach Bash vision to life.

Looking for something fun to do tonight?

Join us for Community & Ally Game Night and Zine Fun from 6-9pm at Transform!

Whether you’re into board games, card games, creative projects, or just looking for a welcoming place to connect with others, there’s a seat for you. We’ll have games, zine-making supplies, snacks, drinks, and plenty of community.

This event is open to LGBTQ+ community members and allies of all experience levels. Come make friends, get creative, and spend the evening with us.

VOLUNTEER STYLISTS NEEDED

Want to make a direct impact for transgender and gender-diverse youth in our community? Join us every Saturday as we prepare clothing donations and our center for the week ahead.

No experience needed. No RSVP required. Drop in anytime between 11am–3pm and stay as long as you’d like.

Volunteer tasks may include:
• Sorting and organizing incoming clothing donations
• Pulling clothing for upcoming client appointments
• Building and styling outfits based on client needs and preferences
• Organizing clothing racks, storage areas, and inventory
• General cleaning and upkeep around the center
• Light yard work, weeding, and outdoor projects
• Helping create a welcoming and affirming space for our community

Whether you love organizing, styling, cleaning, gardening, or just pitching in where needed, we’d love to have you join us.

Looking for a place to connect, relax, and enjoy some community tonight?

Join us at Transform this evening for Community Dinner from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Tonight’s meal is generously provided by Scarlotto’s Pizza, along with snacks, drinks, free WiFi, games, books, and plenty of space to just be yourself.

Whether you want to grab dinner, catch up with friends, work on a project, play a game, watch some TV, or simply hang out in a welcoming environment, we’d love to see you.

As always, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome.

Hello! We are adding Tuesday back into our open days as solely volunteer/hang out and help days. We need help all year long but here is our summer schedule to get involved.

Ragnar the Rottie jumped in the truck to come help but we need folks able to lift, move, and bop around the house. Though he is cute and loveable, he is limited to drool and belly rubs.

We definitely could use your help on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday starting tonight. We have a few exceptions below so please mark your calendars accordingly.

No need to sign up. You don’t have to stay the whole time. Volunteer as much or as little as you can.
