We had a fantastic time at the Bobby Shutter Memorial Golf Tournament and the John M. Troyan, Jr. Memorial Banquet on May 30 at Millstone Golf Course in Elbridge, NY. With 28 teams participating and perfect weather throughout the day, it was a wonderful event enjoyed by all.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the tournament such a success. Your support and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you again next year. Congratulations to the winning team, which shot 61: Tyler Yarnes, Tucker Macintosh, Jason Heerdt, and Joe Pagano. The second-place team was Norm Noel, Sam Lalonde, Cliff Lamb, and Shane Crandall. Jason Heerdt won Closest to the Pin, and Brad Shippee won Longest Drive.
Special thanks to Buckingham, Tyndale, Milwaukee Tools, Haines Supply, NECA, the NYS Linemen’s Safety Fund, Greystone Power Services, and K&R for donating raffle items. Their generosity was greatly appreciated.

It is with heavy hearts that we honor the life and legacy of Robert “Bob” Alan Humiston, a retired IBEW 1249 Journeyman Lineman. Bob was initiated into the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers on February 14, 1986, and dedicated many years of skilled service, hard work, and brotherhood before retiring on September 1, 2018. His commitment to the trade and to his union brothers will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
We extend our sincere sympathy to Bob’s family, friends, and union brothers during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Andrew Livermore. Andrew was initiated into IBEW Local 1249 on February 24, 2010, and was a Journeyman Treeman. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Brother.
