FUNDHOLDER HIGHLIGHT:
The John Andrew and Debi Carlson Memorial Fund was created to honor a life defined by generosity, compassion and a commitment to helping others.

John and Debi quietly supported family, friends, coworkers and their community - often without anyone knowing. Today, their giving continues after John's passing through this fund which supports the Student Emergency Fund at Chippewa Valley Technical College, providing scholarships for local high school graduates who plan to study electrical and mechanical technology at a Wisconsin technical college, like John.

A technical education involves hands-on training and focuses on developing a specific skill set, so students learn to identify and solve problems. John’s family created this fund because they believe in the value of technical education and the opportunities it can provide.

The John Andrew and Debi Carlson Memorial Fund is a Designated Fund that supports the Student Emergency Fund at CVTC.

FUNDHOLDER HIGHLIGHT:
Sloane Brehmer was bright and joyful, and had a delightful, independent spirit. The second child of Dan and Dana Brehmer, her parents recall her running to the door to greet her daddy when he returned home from work.

She was barely a toddler when she unexpectedly passed away in September of 2007 from complications of Meckel's Diverticulum, a rare congenital disease. The rarity of passing from this condition was heartbreaking and The Sloane J. Brehmer Endowment Fund was established by her grandparents, Tom and Jean Hebert, as a loving legacy that will live on in her sweet name.

Grants from the Sloane J. Brehmer Endowment Fund are designated to make a difference in the lives of children in the community through the Family Support Center and Landmark Christian Church, both in Chippewa Falls.

FUNDHOLDER HIGHLIGHT:
The Chippewa Area History Center opened in early 2023 and quickly became a local gem. It is more than a place to explore the past; it’s a community treasure that brings local stories, people and history to life. Through the Chippewa Area History Center Endowment Fund, Bob Hogseth and Clancy Hatleberg are helping ensure this special community asset continues to thrive for generations to come.

"We knew this wonderful, new, non-profit community jewel would need continual financial support," said Bob Hogseth, a founding member and past board president of the Community Foundation, and current History Center board member.

The Chippewa Area History Center Endowment Fund, is a Designated Fund that was established to support the Chippewa Area History Center. Gifts to the Fund support gallery exhibits, archives, the genealogy library, theater, educational programs, maintenance and future innovations for community enjoyment.

From a Foundation Fundholder:
"Sherry and I established an endowment fund in 2024 to become part of the CFCC “family.” We are so thankful for the foundation for providing an extraordinary impact throughout Chippewa County as well as providing an opportunity for us to be part of that impact through philanthropy. The CFCC embodies the famous Helen Keller quote, “alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” The CFCC truly is collective action!"
