National Pizza Day week brought something extra special to Saint Francesca Resource Center!
A huge thank you to 🍕 Slice Out Hunger 🍕for coordinating a free pizza donation, and Toppers Pizza for delivering 12 hot pizzas to our pantry on Tuesday! ❤️Your generosity provided our guests with a fresh, hot slice of pizza, a wonderful respite from the cold. ❄️ Thank you!!!

What a blessing!
A heartfelt thank‑you to the Chippewa Figure Skating Club’s high school skaters.
Last week our pantry was blessed in the most generous way. The high school skaters from the Chippewa Figure Skating Club stopped by to present a $2,250 donation to the Saint Francesca Resource Center—funds they worked hard to raise at their Skate for a Cause event on January 1.

These young leaders chose our pantry as the place where their efforts could make the biggest impact, and we are deeply grateful. Their club shared that they were proud of these skaters “for stepping up, giving back, and showing what it truly means to be leaders on and off the ice.” We couldn’t agree more.
Their gift will help us continue offering food, clothing, and compassionate support to families throughout Chippewa County. What a beautiful example of using your passion to lift up your community!

🌟 Clothing Pantry Update 🌟
We are so grateful for the incredible generosity of our community — your donations make it possible for us to serve families with dignity and care.
As we head into the colder months (with snow already in the forecast ❄️), we kindly ask that donations focus on warm clothing — especially sweaters, boots, gloves, and winter accessories.

At this time, we are not able to accept summer clothing, and we do not need additional winter coats right now.

A gentle reminder: we can only share items that are clean, gently used, and in good repair. Clothing that is stained, ripped, or has broken zippers cannot be passed along to our guests, and adds extra work for our volunteers.
🙏 Thank you for understanding and for continuing to share from your abundance. Together, we can make sure every neighbor has what they need to stay warm.
