Dear Love Chippewa Friends,
Thank you.
For 24 years you have shown up—sometimes in a high school gym, sometimes in other borrowed spaces—and turned an ordinary Saturday into a morning of care, dignity, and hope. You registered guests, checked vision, gave haircuts, prayed with people, served meals, and simply treated every person like they mattered. That long string of events has been a quiet, faithful gift to our community.
I was honestly sad when it looked like that string might end. Then Dr. Cook offered to host this year’s clinic at his office. That one “yes” kept the work going.
This year’s Love Chippewa Free Clinic will look a little different:
Saturday, September 26, 2026
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Chiropractic care will be inside Cook Chiropractic Center.
Vision screening will be next door.
Haircuts and the cookout will take place at Hope Village (right next door).
John Shakal from the Catholic Church is bringing a prayer table so guests can receive prayer and encouragement throughout the morning.
It is still the same heart: meeting physical needs as a doorway to something deeper. We just get to do it in a new setting this year.
We need helpers. If you have served before, you already know how the day works and how much your presence matters. If you can join us even for a few hours, it would mean a great deal.
Please reply to this email or call me at (715) 379-0826 if you are able to help, have questions, or simply want to stay connected.
Thank you again for every Saturday you have given. Because of you, this work is still happening.
With gratitude,
Perry Polnaszek
