First Wisconsin Chapter 6 of Muskies inc is here to support our area Fisheries, Research, and Youth.

The First WI Chapter is one of over 40 chapters in the United States. Our chapter members are primarily from the Chippewa Valley but we have members from as far away as Texas. We are not limited to "dyed in the wool" muskie fisherman, everyone is welcome!

We are now less than 1 month away from our 49th annual fall tournament!

We have less than 2 weeks left of Early Bird discount for tournament entry fees!

Tournament cards needed for text fish registration will not be mailed out for registrations coming in after Sept 1st/Early Bird- meaning you will either need to come and pick one up at in person registration stations Thursday night before the tournament or Utilize FishDonkey to register your fish.

Don't forget to join our tournament on FISHDONKEY to get entered to WIN a BONUS MUSKY ROD AND REEL Combo drawn from FishDonkey users. Our Tournament can be found on the FishDonkey APP by clicking FISH IN A TOURNAMENT and then search for: 1st Wi. Tournament is named 1st Wi Chapter Muskies Inc 2026.

Our annual First Wisconsin chapter, Muskies inc. youth outing was a huge success this year! We had the best turn out ever and the kids all walked away with several goodies!

We had 9 total youth anglers. 6 of them were lucky enough to take home a rod/reel combo and all of them wound up with a handful of baits. Per usual fishing was tough with a steady 25 mph breeze out of the southwest but there were plenty of fish seen.

Chad Nelson took home the traveling trophy with a 35.75 caught at 11:30 on a globe. I’ll have a full write up in the next newsletter for anyone interested in joining next year. Thanks to all who help make this event possible.
