Know an outstanding woman farmer? In recognition of the 2026 International Year of the Woman Farmer, Women in Agribusiness has introduced a new award exclusively honoring female farmers.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience, notable achievements, and a passion for creating opportunities for others in agriculture.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Carnivore Crew is halfway to our fundraising goal!

Every donation helps us continue our mission and makes a real difference for the local youth and families in need that we support. We're grateful for every person who has stepped up to be part of the Crew.

But we're not done yet! We've come this far, and with your help, we can cross the finish line together to support kiddos at both the Silver Dollar Livestock Expo this week and the ButteCounty Fair in August!

The Butte County Farm Bureau is proud to announce the recipients of this year's scholarships! We awarded eleven Gerald M. Geiger Scholarships to local graduating high school seniors and presented the Gary Griswold Scholarship to its fourth recipient.

Supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders is an investment in the future of our communities and our industry. These scholarships recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated a passion for agriculture and plan to pursue degrees in agricultural fields.

Congratulations to all twelve scholarship recipients on this incredible achievement! We are honored to support your educational journey and look forward to seeing the impact you will make in the future of agriculture.
