Day 19, “Revival”

“Wilt thou not revive us again: That thy people may rejoice in thee?”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭85‬:‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As we pray for Save Our City Revival, let’s ask God to do a work that only He can do, and that no man can explain. Pray that God would move in a way that Chickasha has never seen. Pray that people would be broken over their sin, that the people in our community would be transformed by the gospel. Pray for fruit that would last, lives radically changed both individually and families and homes changed. Churches, businesses and our entire community to be impacted by the power of God which is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We pray for a revival that cannot be explained by human effort, talent, or planning. Let it be evident that God Himself has visited His people. May the name of Jesus be exalted throughout our city, and may many come to repentance and faith.

Father, revive us again, Lord, that Your people may rejoice in You and that our community may see Your saving power.

Day 18, “Presence And Power Of God”

Pray that the presence and power of God will be evident throughout this event.

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Throughout Scripture, lives were changed when people encountered the presence of God. Moses came down from the mountain with God’s glory upon him. Isaiah was undone in the presence of a holy God. The early church was filled with boldness and power because they had been with Jesus. Our prayer is that everyone who attends the revival would encounter the living Christ and leave knowing they have met with God.

As we continue our 40 Days of Prayer for Save Our City Revival, today we are asking God to make His power and presence unmistakably evident throughout every part of the event. Programs, music, testimonies, and preaching can never accomplish what only the Holy Spirit can do. We need God’s presence to draw people, convict hearts, break chains, restore families, save souls, and bring lasting transformation.

Father, let Your presence rest upon the preaching of Your Word. Let conviction fall upon hearts that are far from You. Let those who are weary find rest, those who are bound find freedom, and those who are lost find salvation in Jesus Christ.

Empower every volunteer, pastor, worship leader, and worker with grace and strength. Let there be unity among Your people and boldness in proclaiming the gospel. Remove every distraction and every hindrance that would keep people from responding to You.

Day 17, “Partners In Ministry”

“Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

Today we pray for partners in ministry. Across Chickasha, we see a harvest field filled with people who need the hope, healing, and salvation found in Jesus Christ. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

Call believers out of comfort, raise up servants, leaders, prayer warriors, and disciple-makers to serve in our community, workplaces, schools, ministries, and homes. Unite them for the advancement of Your kingdom in Chickasha.

We pray for Freeway Ministry and the churches of our city. Make us one in purpose as we reach broken people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Help us labor side by side in love, humility, and faithfulness.

Day 16, “City Of Refuge”

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Today we pray that Chickasha would become a city of refuge, a place where the weary find rest, the broken find healing, and those walking in darkness encounter the light of Christ. Throughout Scripture, cities of refuge were places where people could run for safety and find protection. In the same way, the church should be a refuge for those overwhelmed by sin, addiction, loss, fear, and hopelessness.

Father, we come before You today asking that Chickasha would be a city of refuge for the weak, the weary, and the worn out. We pray for those who are burdened by addiction, broken relationships, poverty, loneliness, depression, and the consequences of sin. Draw them to Yourself and reveal the rest that is found only in Jesus.

Day 15, “Return to God”

“Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.”

Today we are praying for hearts in Chickasha to return to God. Throughout Scripture, revival begins when people turn back to the Lord with sincere repentance. God is not merely looking for outward changes; He desires transformed hearts. He stands ready to forgive, restore, and renew all who come to Him.

I know and believe that no one is too far gone, I also believe that someone is reading this struggling in their sin thinking that they are. That there’s no way God could repair and restore their broken life. But that is who He is, He rescues broken people!

Today we ask God to move powerfully across our community, convicting hearts, drawing prodigals home, and drawing lost souls to have a fresh hunger for Christ.

We serve a God who specializes in restoration. No heart is too hard, no life too broken, and no situation beyond His reach. We pray that the Holy Spirit would move through homes, workplaces, schools, churches, and neighborhoods throughout Chickasha, bringing many to repentance and faith.

Day 14, “Reconciliation”

“And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Reconciliation begins with understanding what Christ has done for us. Paul reminds believers that before salvation we were “alienated” from God. We were not merely distant from Him; we were His enemies because of our sin. Yet God did not leave us in that condition. Through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, He made a way for sinners to be brought near.

As we pray for revival in our city, we must remember that reconciliation with God is every person’s greatest need. Every addiction, broken home, fractured relationship, and personal struggle ultimately points back to the need for reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. When people are made right with God, He begins the work of restoring every area of life.

Thank God for reconciling you to Himself through Jesus Christ.
Pray for those in our city who are far from God to be saved.
Pray for people who feel hopeless, rejected, or unworthy to discover God’s grace.
Pray for broken families to experience the restoring power of the Gospel.
Pray for those trapped in addiction to find freedom through Christ.
Pray that believers would faithfully share the message of reconciliation.
Pray that our revival meetings would clearly proclaim the Gospel and see many come to Christ.
