Happy National Police Week to all Law Enforcement!

We need your help!!!
The Chickasha Police Department is seeking volunteers to help with traffic control for the Wings & Wheels Fly-In & Car show on Saturday, June 15th. We are needing six to ten volunteers from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to help direct traffic. If we can get 10 people to volunteer, we can split the times into shifts. Shifts would be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. We will make sure volunteers have a break to see the event especially if we are unable to split it into shifts. If anyone is interested we will need to know by Thursday, June 6th. If I can get a list of names and shirt sizes for volunteers by Wednesday morning on June 5th, we can get event shirts for all volunteers. I am sad to report that our dear friend and Police Academy Alumni Member Becky Freeman has passed away. Many of you will remember Becky for her helpfulness and infectious smile and cheerful heart. Her life will be celebrated the 29th at Bible Baptist Church and I encourage all of you to meet up and attend together. .

May God bless Becky eternally.

Thank all of you for helping this past week for Sgt. Schoolfield and his family. As you can see, the police department needs more help now than ever! Your support is vital to their success. Moving forward, pray for the city as they continue in their national search to hire a police chief that is well equipped for this leadership position. Also, continue to pray for the officers-- pray they remain strong during this transition.

What's Next? We have to continue meeting, stay solidified as a group, and be proactive in support for our police department.
