The Hannah's Heart Clothes Closet at Michigan Ave Baptist Church will be open TOMORROW (Wed, Jan 15th) from 6:30-7:30pm. We have all kinds of baby, kids, women's and men's clothing. We don't want them sitting in the closet...we want them in the hands of people who need them! If you or your kids could use some gently used clothing- come by and see us! Chickasha friends- can you help?
Friends in other places- please pray for this ministry! This will be our 12th year of ministry. All items are donated and then provided to moms (and families) in need at no cost. We have seen God work in some amazing ways over the past 12 years and can't wait to see what He will do next...

Hello, Friends! I know it has been a while since we posted, but we have bee going through some changes and needed a little hiatus. As most of you already know...we are no longer housed in the Pregnancy Center. We have moved to Michigan Avenue Baptist Church. We have a HUGE space there, but it needs some cleaning and organizing! We would like to work towards a Grand Re-Opening sometime in February. Here are ways you can help:
1. PRAY!
2. Volunteer! Even if you only have an hour to give...we could use you to sort clothes, organize, sweep, etc...We will also have regular hours (probably 1 day/week) where help will be needed to assist clients in finding what they need (sometimes that is only an ear to listen).
3. Donate! We can always use gently used baby and maternity clothing and any other items needed by a mom with an infant (cribs, blankets, bottles, baby food/formula, etc. Exception: We only accept NEW carseats). We are also happy that we will be able to expand out clothes closet to include men's and children's clothing as well!
4. We are considering a name change to reflect the fact that our ministry will be expanding to include the WHOLE family instead of just moms and babies. If you have a great idea for a new name, please let us know!
We are very excited about what God is doing and going to do with this ministry! If you have questions or would like to help...please contact Amy Willoughby by text/phone at 405-822-0011 or by email at [email protected]

Here is another way to help:
If you live in the Chickasha area and have household items or adult clothing that you want to get rid of....it can be donated to Goodwill in the name of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church. In return for your donation, Goodwill will mail us vouchers that we can give to moms and families in need. They can take these vouchers to Goodwill and use them like cash to shop for needed items! If you want to donate items but can't get them to Goodwill...contact us. We can pick them up and drop them off at Goodwill for you :)

We have been on a little hiatus (though we have still been helping out moms in every way we can!)....but we are ready to get organized in our new location, Michigan Avenue Baptist Church! We have a lot of clearing out, sorting, and organizing to do and could definitely use some help. If you would be willing to donate some of your time....please contact Amy by private message or text/call 405-822-0011!

15 year old Rebekah Willoughby, a Chickasha Oklahoma resident, wrote a song, "Oklahoma Strong" following the tornado in Moore (her mother's hometown). Rebekah was the first to put a tribute song of this kind on youtube following the May 20th event. Since then it has received many views and has been used on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer and on the local ABC affiliate KOCO 5 News several times.

Rebekah is touched that this has been a blessing to others and has decided to use this to give back. The song is being made available on iTunes (should be live in 2-3days) and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the OK Strong Disaster Relief Fund through the United Way! The goal is to raise $10,000 to help with the long term needs of Oklahomans affected by the May 19th and May 20th tornados.

We would appreciate your help in spreading the word so this goal can be met!
