PTCS' mission is to equip young learners academically and spiritually to be future leaders.

Pui Tak is a Pre K - 8 private Christian school located in the heart of Chicago's Chinatown. Since 1953, we have been dedicated to preparing godly leaders within our community who will be the "salt of the earth," full of hope, excelling in their educational pursuits, fulfilling their call, serving and exemplifying the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart, soul and mind.

Staff Retreat 2026 — A Day to Reflect, Reconnect, and Renew

On August 17, the Pui Tak Christian School staff stepped away from the usual rhythm of preparation to worship, pray, laugh, and enjoy time together before the new school year began.

We also welcomed four new staff members through our Stones of Remembrance tradition, a meaningful reminder of the many faithful individuals God has used to build PTCS over the years, while looking ahead to the part each of us will play in carrying His work forward.

One special reflection invited each staff member to choose a bird representing a God-given quality they hope to bring to their ministry this year. Just as God intentionally created and cares for every bird, He has uniquely created and equipped each of us with different gifts, strengths, and roles to serve our students and one another.

We ended the day grateful for those who made this time of spiritual renewal and fellowship possible. With renewed hearts and a stronger sense of purpose, we look forward to seeing what God will do through the PTCS team in 2026–2027!

JSP Jumpstart 2026 — Memories That Will Last 💛

The classrooms are quieter now, but the memories of JSP Jumpstart 2026 remain.

For seven weeks this summer, God brought together nearly 200 students, 23 staff members, 40 ASM teenagers, and 100 volunteers and ministry partners. Together, we learned, worshiped, served, laughed, built friendships, overcame challenges, and created memories that will continue to shape lives long after summer has ended.

At PTCS, JSP Jumpstart has never been just a summer program. Every child, teenager, staff member, and volunteer matters. This summer, we were especially grateful to invest in our ASM youth as they grew in responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and a heart for serving others.

We’re also deeply thankful for the churches, ministry teams, alumni, parents, community partners, and volunteers who made JSP Jumpstart 2026 possible.

As everyone begins a new school year, we give God all the glory for what He accomplished in just seven short weeks.

Together, we made memories. Together, we made a difference.

Thank you, JSP family and community. We can’t wait to see you at JSP Jumpstart 2027!

Look no further than Son Quest Rainforest, Vacation Bible Club at Chinese Christian Union Church! 🦜

If your child is interested in singing songs, snacks, cool prizes, stories, etc., they are welcome to come and enjoy a week of learning and friendship.

Ages: Students entering 1st-7th grades this fall
Where: Chinese Christian Union Church (2301 S. Wentworth Ave.)

When: June 29-July 3 (Monday-Friday)
July 6-9 (Monday-Thursday)

This year's JSP Jumpstart has begun! ☀️

Just a few days in, and our hallways are already buzzing with energy, learning, and laughter. Our students are bringing their absolute best to the classroom—sharpening their academic skills, building friendships, and growing together in faith.

We are so proud of their hard work already and can’t wait to see all the ways God blesses the weeks ahead! 📚✨

Last Friday, we officially concluded our Summer Art Camp, and we couldn't be prouder of our young artists 🎨✨

Our preschoolers and rising 1st graders had an absolute blast exploring art through nature, music, and science. They crafted sea creatures, built their own rubber-band instruments, and experimented with the science of art materials. We’re so proud of our little creators! 👇 Check out some of their amazing masterpieces!
