What an incredible day! ❤️
Although we had to move our Back-to-School event from Saturday to Sunday because of the weather, today's turnout was nothing short of amazing.
For those who showed up and didn't get anything please know that the line starts really early because followers have learned things go fast with such a large population that we served.

We were blessed to serve 159 families and 360 children!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, we distributed:
🎒 300 school backpacks filled with supplies
👟 150 pairs of brand-new gym shoes
🧥 500 winter coats
🧣 Hats, gloves, scarves, and so much more.

The greatest feeling was loading up nothing but our empty bins at the end of the day. That means every donation found its way to a child who needed it. There is no greater blessing than being able to serve our community in this way.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every donor, volunteer, sponsor, and every person who shared our event to help spread the word. Because of you, hundreds of children will head back to school feeling confident, prepared, and loved.

This is what community looks like. Together, we are making a difference—one child, one family, and one act of kindness at a time. ❤️

ATTENTION IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE 🌧️
Due to the forecast calling for rain all day Saturday, we have made the decision to move our Humble Hearts Annual Back-to-School Warmth Before Winter Event to Sunday, August 2nd.

Our goal is to make sure every child and family has a safe and enjoyable experience and that's without rain and being soaked.

📅 New Date: Sunday, August 2nd
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Tilton Park, 305 N. Kostner Ave., Chicago

We will still be providing FREE:
🎒 School bags filled with supplies
👟 Brand-new shoes
👕 Clothing
🧦 Bombas socks
🧥 Winter coats, hats & gloves
🧸 A brand-new toy for every child

Kids must be present to receive items.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Humble Hearts is looking for amazing volunteers to help make our Annual Back to School: Warmth Before Winter Event a success!

We need helping hands to:
Unload donation trucks
Set up school supplies and giveaway stations
Pass out school bags filled with supplies
Distribute Bombas socks
Hand out winter coats
Give toys to every child

Saturday, August 1, 2026 Volunteer Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Can't stay all day? No problem! We gladly accept volunteers in shifts, so whether you can give 2 hours, 4 hours, or the entire day, your time will make a difference.
Together, we can bring smiles, hope, and essential items to children and families preparing for the school year.

Our Free Community Baby Shower was absolutely beautiful! ❤️

Out of the 35 moms selected to attend, 5 were unable to make it because they had already welcomed their precious babies before the event. That's always one of the best reasons to miss our shower! One of the moms who delivered last week still showed up with her beautiful baby girl.

When we said every mom would need a vehicle to get everything home, we weren't kidding! Each mom walked away with an abundance of blessings, baby essentials, gifts, diapers, wipes, clothing, and so much more. Seeing the smiles on their faces reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

To our sponsors, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who donated—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity helped ease the financial burden for these mothers so they can focus on what matters most: welcoming and caring for their babies.

Together, we created more than an event. We created a day filled with love, support, hope, and community.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who showed up, worked hard, and helped make this event possible. We couldn't do this without you!

HUMBLE HEARTS COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER

We have selected our 25 moms that are in for an amazing day filled with love, support, and blessings!
Every mom in attendance will receive raffle tickets for a chance to win incredible prizes:
Girl's Rocking Bassinet, Boy's Rocking Bassinet, 2 Pack & Plays, 3 Car Seats, Exercise Gear to help moms get back in shape, Baby Gate, sonic Humidifiers, Bottle Warmers, & so much more!
PLUS... Each mom will receive: 3 Cases of Diapers and Baby Wipes along with the opportunity to shop our boutique of BRAND-NEW baby clothes ranging from newborn to 24 months... With a partnership with Cradles to Crayons for up to 5 years of clothing as their baby grows.
IMPORTANT: Moms who were selected through our nomination process will need access to a vehicle. There will be so many wonderful items and gifts that transportation will be necessary to get everything home safely.
