Our own Tom Greenan recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C., with Honor Flight Chicago, an incredible organization that provides veterans with the opportunity to visit the memorials built in their honor.
Tom was interviewed upon his return to Midway Airport and again the following day at the WGN-TV studios. He has been told that both interviews are expected to air sometime on Friday, July 4, although an exact broadcast time has not been announced.
If you're celebrating the holiday at home, keep an eye on WGN throughout the day—you just might catch a familiar face representing our Post and sharing his Honor Flight experience!
