VISION Outreach Providing education, inspiration, & revelation for the next generation of VISIONaries. VISION Outreach is all about investment.

Our vision is to provide the youth of the Chicago land area with easily accessible services that invest in the youthsโ€™ future giving the youth a vision for their lives that sparks hope, thus creating a positive reoccurring harvest throughout the youthsโ€™ lives by planting seeds for positive growth and development. Our goal is to be a contributing factor in mentoring the next generation of Chicago into positive leaders leading Chicago into a brighter future. VISION Outreach makes sure that its programs are more than just effective but defy the common conceptions and understandings about open community outreach. Everyone has an investment in our youth. Everyone has something they can invest, and together, we can make the greatest investment and experience the greatest return Chicago has yet to see. In its young existence, VISION Outreach has reached over 500 youth through their annual summer camps, Saturday tutoring sessions, annual teen summit conferences, youth empowerment sessions, in-school mentoring and tutoring sessions, and annual end of summer talent showcases. More than 2,000 girls across Chicago have shared their experiences, priorities, and hopes for change. Now, the Coalition on Urban Girls is inviting girls ages 13โ€“19 to turn those voices into ideas, recommendations, and action through the Girl Leadership Design Lab.

Participants will help shape Chicagoโ€™s first Quality of Life Plan for Girls while gaining leadership and design experience, building new connections, and receiving a $100 stipend for each session.

No leadership title or previous experience is required. Weโ€™re looking for girls with a voice, a perspective, and a desire to make Chicago better for girls today and for those coming behind them.
