Single Rohingya refugee mom of 5 living in an unfinished basement that floods every time it rains. Most people who live/work in the suburbs, the northside and downtown area do not encounter individuals in such severe need. They almost never go to impoverished neighborhoods, which puts them in a bubble. Living in a bubble leads to forming opinions that do not reflect the reality on the ground. Whether you volunteer with Humanity Relief or another nonprofit, we highly encourage you to get out there and meet some of the most vulnerable members of our society!

Thanks to your donations air conditioners were provided to those struggling with heat inside their transitional apartments. Thanks to your donations resettlement clients were provided new clothes, were able to clean themselves and clean their apartments.
