Circles & Ciphers uses hip hop, the arts and restorative practices to help young people impacted by violence and incarceration heal, create and build leadership skills.

❤️ Come together for Circles & Ciphers.

Circles & Ciphers and the United Church of Rogers Park are bringing the community together for an evening to honor the past, invest in the future and support the work that helps young people heal, create and grow.

The fundraiser will feature a community meal, performances by neighborhood and C&C artists and a storytelling panel

Sat, Oct 17 from 6 - 10 p.m. at United Church of Rogers Park, 1545 W. Morse Ave.

Following funding cuts, this gathering is an opportunity to show up for Circles & Ciphers and help sustain this important work in Rogers Park.

🎉 We’re excited to announce that we have been selected as an Illinois Economic Empowerment Center (EEC) Program Round 2 awardee!

RPBA was also selected as an EEC in Round 1, and we’re excited to build on that work in this next round.

Through the EEC Program, RPBA will continue providing entrepreneurs and small businesses with training, technical assistance, education and other resources to help them build and grow their businesses.

We’re grateful to the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and the Office of Economic Equity & Empowerment for the opportunity to continue this work and expand support for entrepreneurs in our community.

We’re looking forward to continuing this important work and supporting our business community!🎉

🎨 MAKE SOMETHING BIG!

Ever wanted to help build a giant puppet? Here’s your chance.

This October, local artist Abby P***n will lead a FREE four-session workshop at GROW/PROGRESANDO where community members can get hands-on designing, building and painting a giant puppet for Día de los Mu***os: Catrina Walk.

You don’t need to be an artist. You don’t need puppet-making experience. Just bring your creativity and be ready to make something BIG together.

October 12, 19, 27 & 30 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Grow/Progresando entrepreneurial training, 7056 N. Clark St.

Participation in all four sessions is recommended but not required. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Then on November 1, we’ll take our giant creation to the streets of Camino Clark for Día de los Mu***os: Catrina Walk!
