Community Event: Expungement & Sealing Fair

MENA Community Center invites our community to join us on October 10th at Kennedy-King College for an Expungement and Sealing Fair.

This event is designed to help eligible Cook County residents learn about their options and take the next step toward clearing or sealing their records.

Don't forget to register for our upcoming "Power of Attorney" presentation in partnership with The Center for Disability and Elder Law. This free event will provide an informative presentation explaining how to to legally authorize a trusted person (your agent) to make financial or medical decisions on your behalf if needed. This event is open to everyone in the community, regardless of age, and lunch will be provided.

Polish American Association was pleased to welcome Najwa Abuali, Executive Director of MENA Community Center , for a meaningful conversation with George Tomlinson, PAA Senior Program Officer, about cooperation, networking, and future partnership opportunities.

MENA Community Center has been serving the Middle Eastern and North African community in the Chicagoland area for 4 years, providing vital services, benefits, referrals, language support, and programs that help individuals and families thrive.

As PAA prepares to celebrate our 104th anniversary in August 2026, we are especially excited to connect with newer community organizations that share our commitment to supporting immigrants, underserved communities, and all neighbors in need.

Together, we look forward to spreading the word about each other’s events, exploring joint initiatives, and strengthening the network of support across our communities.
