Enjoy the 4th of July Holiday and Celebrate Safely!

As our nation commemorates 250 years of history, we invite you to reflect on our rich Methodist heritage and the enduring faith that has guided generations. Together, let's journey back to our roots and discover how the timeless wisdom of John Wesley continues to inspire, challenge, and shape our faith today.

A Not So Calm Address to American Methodists on America's 250th revisits John Wesley's historic A Calm Address to Our American Colonies, written more than 250 years ago as he sought to persuade the colonists not to rebel against Great Britain.

In this thought-provoking reflection, Dr. Ashley Boggan and the Rev. Andy Oliver explore what Wesley's warnings about false liberty, propaganda, division, and moral decay might mean for United Methodists today. https://www.resourceumc.org/en/content/a-not-so-calm-address-to-american-methodists

As we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary, how can our Methodist heritage help us live out our faith with grace, wisdom, and hope in today's world? We invite you to read, reflect, and join the conversation.
