We were grateful to welcome members from the Promus Capital Management team to the North Austin Center for a day of service, connection, and team building!

Throughout the day, Promus employees volunteered across By The Hand Club For Kids, Grace and Peace, and Intentional Sports.

At By The Hand, the team created murals and banners centered around the semester theme, “Growing Together." At Grace and Peace Church, Promus helped prepare for the upcoming Christmas event, organized toys and winter shoes for families and teenagers, and supported the food pantry.

The day wrapped up at Intentional Sports, where the Promus team had the opportunity to connect with their colleagues in a different setting—and enjoy some friendly competition with kickball and knockout.

Thank you, Promus, for investing your time and energy into organizations serving the North Austin community!

We were honored to represent Intentional Sports and the Intentional Peace League ☮️ at the 2026 Strides for Peace National Gun Violence Prevention Expo!

Jimmie Brooks, Assistant Director of Basketball and Founder of the Intentional Peace League, spoke about using basketball to promote peace, build community, and create positive opportunities for youth and young adults.

Creating a safer community is central to our work. Since opening our campus, youth gun victimization has decreased by 50% within a 0.5-mile radius, according to Chicago Police Department data.

Through the Intentional Peace League and our collaboration with PeacePlayers US , we provide free, competitive basketball alongside mentorship, conflict resolution, and leadership development.

Thank you, Strides for Peace, for hosting a powerful National Expo in Chicago and bringing together organizations dedicated to creating safer, stronger communities nationwide.

This weekend, we hosted our first-ever Mario Kart Tournament in our Riot Games Esports Lab! It was awesome seeing everyone race, compete, cheer each other on, and most importantly, enjoy time together.

And we even had a special guest join the fun — Skates from the Chicago Wolves!

Just remember… it’s all fun and games until someone gets hit by a blue shell.
