Head Start helps create opportunities that can last a lifetime.

Children who experience Head Start programming are 8.5% more likely to enroll in college, 39% more likely to finish college, and 12% less likely to live in poverty as adults.

Today, proposed changes to federal Head Start standards could impact the comprehensive services that help make these outcomes possible—from teacher-child ratios and family engagement to health, developmental, and mental health supports.

Now is the time to make your voice heard. The public comment period is open through October 6. Share why Head Start matters to you and why every child deserves access to a strong start.

At Christopher House, learning never stops—and neither does the fun!

Our dedicated staff regularly come together for trainings that strengthen their skills, deepen their knowledge, and help us provide the best possible support for our scholars and families. And after the learning is done, we make time to strengthen our community, too—like with a 90s-themed cookout following a recent training!

Congratulations to the graduates of Christopher House’s 5th Child Development Associate (CDA) cohort! 🎓

Through the program, participants have gained practical skills and knowledge in early childhood education, earned college credit toward their degrees, and built valuable hands-on experience working directly in the classroom.

We’re proud to celebrate all they have accomplished and wish our graduates continued success as they take the next steps in their educational and professional journeys. Here’s to all that’s ahead!
